Institution created in the 1950s under the name 'Cours Complémentaire', marking the beginnings of the educational institution in Bafia.
Transformation into Collège d'Enseignement Général de Bafia (C.E.G), first principal: Dimale Henry, establishing the foundations of secondary education in the region.
Evolution into Lycée de Bafia, consolidating its role in upper secondary education under the direction of Raymond Kouna (1969-1971).
Transformation into Collège d'Enseignement Secondaire de Bafia (C.E.S) following the creation of the Lycée Classique et Moderne de Bafia. First principal: Ongolo Ndjomo Pierre (1981-1983).
Official recognition as Collège d'Enseignement Secondaire Bilingue, strengthening its commitment to French-English bilingual education under the direction of Mbang A Nyam Jean Louis (1997-2003).
